The vision

Why Made in Germany Awards?

The fact: Germany is an innovation nation with a strong research and industrial base. Ranked 9th in the Global Innovation Index 2024, leading in patents, green tech and Industry 4.0.

Germany is incredibly innovative. We're just bad at showing it.

Our vision

  • Make it visible: We put research and innovation “Made in Germany” in the spotlight and reach decision-makers in business and politics as well as the wider public.
  • Make it understandable: The creators' language makes complex topics relatable and easily accessible, even for people without specialist knowledge.
  • Make it relevant: We bring research and innovation into everyday life by actively involving communities and creating genuine discussion.
